Welcome Vendors!



Florida Suds and Light welcome vendors to attend to sell their products at the convention. It's the perfect opportunity for you to sell products on a cash-and-carry basis, and take pre-orders for delivery at the convention. Your target audience is right there! Registration will include an 8ft table with table cloth and food for one person (breakfast, lunch and snacks), plus one goodie bag.

Only qualified vendors will be allowed to sell at the convention. By qualified, we mean businesses who sell supplies for soapmaking, candlemaking, bath and body making, and other scented crafts. This can also includes trade associations and other companies whose product or service appeals to the scented craft trade (printing companies, professional guilds, web design, etc). Sales of finished soaps, candles, etc will not be allowed. Sales of nutritional supplements, home party plan items (such as Party Lights, Amway, etc), or anything else not connected to the fragranced craft trade also will not be allowed. If in doubt, please contact our Vendor Coodinator before you register.

Attending vendors will need to submit the following items to the Vendor Coordinator prior to the conference: 1. A Certificate of Insurance, as proof of liability coverage for their off-premise activities. 2. A signed waiver (provided after registration) attesting that the vendor will be liable for any damages or cleaning fees imposed by the civic center for their vendor space. Vendors will dispose of trash responsibly, both during and at the close of the convention. 3. Upon request, the vendor must be able to produce a valid resale certificate or business license - vendors will be responsible for researching and conducting business in accordance with prevailing sales tax regulations. The Florida Department of Revenue does come to fairs, expos and conventions to check compliance with the sales tax regulations, and they've been known to close down and escort off the premises vendors who are not in compliance. Vendors are responsible to make sure they are in compliance. Vendors who register for vendor space will be considered in agreement that the vendor is able and willing to provide the above listed items.

Ths conventions and its Coordinators are not responsible for the outcome of any transactions arising from vendor booths at the convention. Acceptance of vendor space applications is contingent on meeting the vendor requirements listed on this page. Vendor space fees are not refundable.
